Besides, this personal background is being complemented on a periodic basis with training provided by Servicios Canarios de Traducciones y Congresos in terms of communication, protocol, psychology, safety, sign language, support to disabled people, use of defibrillators and other relevant issues.
     Servicios Canarios de Traducciones y Congresos, created back in 1994, has been pioneer in incorporating HOSTS to a service that was traditionally being performed exclusively by women. Moreover, we are the only company providing winter uniforms, summer uniforms, sports uniforms and formal uniforms (for night events).

Traducciones y Congresos is the company in the Canary Islands supplying the widest coverage within our industry and with the best response reaction based on its own hostess team with university degrees, formed by over 130 young people.

      Besides, we are the only company with an AENOR Certification in all our work sectors: UNE-EN ISO 9001:2008, UNE-EN ISO 15038 and UNE-EN ISO 14001:2004.

     Our Hostess Service includes:

 Our services include a direct coordination of the hostess team before and during the event by one of our own coordinators, hence avoiding unnecessary inconveniences to our customers.

HOSTESS DUTIES
o    Welcome to Conference Participants, Speakers and Lecturers.
o    Transfer Services.
o    Help on board in buses for all requested trips.
o    Providing of information to the audience of an event Public Relationships (PPRR).
o    Phone answering and Technical Secretariat. Delivery of event credentials.
o    Delivery of material and/or gifts.
o    Welcome and escort of authorities.
o    Functioning test of the PA system and simultaneous translation devices.
o    Permanent presence near the presidential table and around the entire venue.
o    Delivery and withdrawal of microphones during round tables and/or question-and-answer sessions.
o    Providing of assessment concerning social and tourist activities offered by the city.  Support and coordination of excursions for companion guests.
o    Support and control for all programmed events.
o    Checking of satisfaction level of event participants.
o    Cooperation with the rest of the organizing staff.
o    Liason interpreting for foreign guests (Hosts/Hostess with fluent command of foreign languages).
o    Coordination by one of our own hostess team members.
o    Delivery of participation diplomas or certificates.
o     Box-office management in theatres. Box-Office Hostesses of Servicios Canarios de Traducciones y  Congresos use the Ticket Sale Software of La Caja de Canarias.
o    Management of Switchboards.
o    Management of Cloakrooms and Checkrooms.
o    Preparation of stock lists.
o    Undertaking of polls and surveys

o    Our hostesses receive all necessary training for each promotion thanks to the coordination between the Management of our Hostesses and Promoters Department and our Customer.

o    Cooperation in the assembly of the stand or the promotion.

o    End of Promotion Reports.
o    Product Commercial Work (only Commercial Promoters and Campaign Coordinator).
o    Campaign coordination with several promotion points managed by one of our Campaign Coordinators.
